Why did the conference change to an online conference?

As the situation has not yet markedly improved, it is difficult to anticipate how travel restrictions for each country may change leading up to the conference. After deep consideration, the IDEN 2020 organizing committee has decided to move forward as an Online Conference Only to address the concerns of participants and to ensure the stability of the schedule.

When can I access the online conference website?

The IDEN 2020 secretariat will provide you with a URL and ID/PW to access the Online Conference website. You can also access it through the official website on the day of the conference.

Can I access multiple sessions at once with one ID?

Multiple access will not be allowed in real time.

What time will the conference be streamed?

IDEN 2020 will be streamed live based on Korea Standard Time (KST; GMT+9).

Is real-time Q&A possible?

Yes, you can ask questions in real time. All virtual participants will be able to type questions through a chat window on the online conference website. Session moderators will pick some questions from the chat room and ask the speakers on your behalf. All Q&A will be streamed in real time via the online platform.
Onsite invited speakers will have real-time Q&A and speakers who confirm access to the real-time video conference will have real-time Q&A, too.

Is it possible to attend onsite if I am a domestic (Korean) participant?

No, all participants must attend the conference via the online platform. Only a few domestic moderators, invited speakers, and committee members will attend onsite to supervise and attend the session.

How can I watch the presentation VOD again?

All sessions will be streamed at the scheduled time based on Korea Standard Time (KST). You can stream presentations during the session time and watch them again during the conference. Downloads will not be permitted.

How can I see abstracts?

During the conference, abstracts can be viewed on the Online Conference Website and official app [name: IDEN].
